I Like Nonsense!

I like nonsense. Not because it always makes sense, but because it frees the mind from taking life too seriously. Nonsense has a way of lightening the load, breaking through the ordinary, and reminding us that laughter and play are just as important as discipline and responsibility.

Too often, we get caught up in the seriousness of life, deadlines, goals, responsibilities and expectations. We convince ourselves that everything must be logical, structured and perfectly aligned. But the truth is, nonsense gives us balance. It allows us to breathe, to smile and to step outside the heavy box of “what must be.”

Nonsense inspires creativity. It allows us to see the world through different eyes, where the impossible suddenly feels possible. It’s in those silly moments, those random laughs and those “this doesn’t make sense but I love it” experiences, that we often find new ideas, new energy and new joy.

I like nonsense because it reminds me not to take myself too seriously. It keeps me grounded in the simple truth that joy is not always logical. Sometimes it’s goofy. Sometimes it’s unexpected. Sometimes it’s nonsense and that’s perfectly okay.

So go ahead and embrace it. Laugh at something that doesn’t make sense. Enjoy the silliness of the moment. Because in a world that constantly demands seriousness, nonsense might just be the most sensible thing you can embrace. I like nonsense. It wakes up the brain cells and opens doors to laughter, creativity, and joy.
