What you give is what you get. What you sow, you shall reap. Life has a way of returning to you whatever you put into the world—through your words, actions, and energy. How you treat others says more about you than it ever will about them. Your character is reflected in your kindness, your patience, and the way you handle both respect and disagreement.
Treat others with dignity, compassion, and respect—whether or not they “deserve” it. Because in doing so, you show the strength of your own character. The energy you give out is the energy that comes back. Want kindness? Be kind. Want understanding? Be understanding. Want love? Give it freely.
Remember, respect is not demanded—it’s earned. And the quickest way to earn it is by showing it first.
