Believe in Action

You are going to meet people who know exactly what to say at exactly the right time. Their words can sound convincing and their promises can feel comforting. But at the end of the day, you should believe people by what they do and not by what they say.

Words can be rehearsed and charm can be performed. Actions require effort and consistency and accountability. Actions reveal priorities and character and intentions. When someone shows you who they are through patterns, choices and behavior, believe what you see.

The same rule applies to you. Your actions carry your values into the world. If your words and your actions do not match, people will trust what they witness. So speak with honesty and move with integrity and let your actions be the proof. Let your actions introduce you before your words ever do.
