When we think of “Random Acts of Kindness” we think of it as a deliberate attempt to brighten or help someone’s day by doing something thoughtful, caring or by showing concern… I believe that “Random Acts of Kindness” is a way of ensuring our selfish nature doesn’t engulf our daily lives. Too often we think the world revolves around us. It’s all about me, myself and I. Who cares about being kind to others? What has anyone done for me lately? The reason why we show others “Random Acts of Kindness” isn’t for them, but for ourselves. It’s a great way to impact the lives of others and in doing so, you realize you are not alone! Giving a little of oneself can become contagious and eventually make open doors to opportunities you never expected! No act of kindness, no matter how small.. is ever wasted. Aesop
“The world could be a much better place through your kindness. All because of that single act of kindness by a stranger.”
“Appreciation can make a day – even change a life. Your willingness to put it into words is all that is necessary.” Margaret Cousins
“Never get tired of doing little things for others. Sometimes, those little things occupy the biggest part of their hearts.”
“Isn’t it amazing how often we can touch someone’s life, and enrich our own, by a very simple act? Kindness, pass it on…what a wonderful way to pattern our lives!” Betty, Community Organizer, WA
“Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.” Leo Buscaglia
Go ahead! I dare you to be kind to others! It won’t kill you, well not all of you……..
