Despite what we may believe, quite often, some people are not really seeking out their own happiness. They don’t know themselves well enough to conceptualize what they actually want out of life. Too often they wind up seeking someone else’s idea of happiness instead of focusing on what makes them happy. Once you understand you’re not bound to what others believe to be your happiness, you are well on your way to finding happiness. It’s important to consistently remind ourselves of the profound effect we alone have in our own happiness.
