Rise Above the Negative

I am still trying to understand what drives people to be narrow minded, negative, and intentionally hurtful. Why do some feel the need to belittle others when they could use the same time and energy to encourage, uplift, and show respect. The truth is, this behavior often comes from something deeper. It can be rooted in insecurity, fear, past experiences, or a lack of self awareness. Some people tear others down to feel a sense of control or superiority, while others simply repeat what they have learned without ever questioning it.

Not everyone will choose to grow, and not everyone will change. That is a reality we must accept. What matters is how we respond. We can choose to rise above negativity and lead with character, empathy, and strength. Encouragement and respect are not weaknesses, they are powerful choices that reflect who we are. When we focus on being better rather than reacting to the worst in others, we create a standard that speaks louder than words. You may not change everyone, but you will always influence someone by choosing to be the example. Stay grounded in who you are even when others choose to fall short with their negativity.
