Become a Leader

Leadership titles are everywhere. Leadership itself is harder to find.

Real leadership isn’t about authority or being the person in charge. It’s about what you do when people are counting on you, especially when circumstances become difficult.

It means having the courage to step forward, the humility to put others first, and the integrity to remain steady when taking the easier path would be tempting.

You don’t have to wait for someone to give you permission to lead.

You choose leadership every time you help someone move forward, make the difficult decision, share the credit, accept responsibility, or stand firm when others need someone they can depend on.

That may be why genuine leadership seems scarce.

It asks something of you.

But every day gives you another opportunity to answer.

Leadership isn’t the position you’re given. It’s the example you choose to become.
