Encouragement Matters

We don’t always know what someone is carrying when they walk into a room.

That’s why a welcome matters.

A compliment matters.

Encouragement matters.

Sometimes it only takes a few words to help someone see something in themselves they had forgotten—or had never seen before.

I’ve always believed in looking for the good in people and reminding them of what they are capable of becoming.

You may never know how far your words travel after you say them.

So make them worth carrying. Encouragement may take only a few seconds to give, but someone can carry it for years.
