Helping people doesn’t always mean doing something for them.

Sometimes the better gift is showing them what they’re capable of doing for themselves.

Give people knowledge. Give them opportunity. Give them encouragement. Then give them room to surprise themselves.

Empowerment begins when you stop showing people what you can do and start helping them discover what they can do.
