Needed to Learn

I’ve had things not work out the way I expected.

At the time, failure can make you question the decision, the effort and sometimes even yourself.

But distance has a way of changing the lesson.

Some of my disappointments forced me to reconsider what I was doing, learn something I had overlooked and find another way forward.

Failure didn’t always give me what I wanted. But sometimes it gave me what I needed to learn.

Failure may close the door on the outcome you wanted while opening your eyes to something you needed to learn.
