Remove Unnecessary Stress

Some stress comes with life. Other stress comes from carrying things that were never ours to carry.

We replay someone else’s behavior. We try to understand decisions we didn’t make. We expect people to respond the way we would. And sometimes we spend more energy trying to change someone than they are willing to spend changing themselves.

Not everything requires your involvement. Not every problem needs your solution. And not every disappointment deserves unlimited space in your mind.

Sometimes the simplest question is: Is this actually mine to carry?

If the answer is no, put it down.

You can care about something without carrying it. Some stress disappears when you realize it was never yours to hold.
