The pre-writing activities the students were doing this week was a pleasure as I was helping them learn about avenues to descent careers, other than a 4 year plus college degree. It was a lot of work & I’m tired (in case you’re wondering where I’ve been), but it was fulfilling.
But I am very grateful I m no longer a full-time teacher as I would have had almost 200 packets to bring home & grade. Next week, it will be the actual essays. So, if you ever wonder why there’s a teacher shortage, here’s why: It’s hard to have a personal life when you are a teacher. I SALUTE ALL TEACHERS TODAY. THANKS FOR GIVING YOUR BEST YEARS TO OUR YOUTH! 😉 <3
Peace, love & understanding,
Sherrie
