Don’t Have to Explain

We spend a lot of energy trying to make everyone understand our decisions.

Sometimes an explanation is necessary. Sometimes it isn’t.

You can know why something matters to you without convincing everyone else that it should matter to them too.

Make thoughtful decisions. Be respectful. Then give yourself permission to move forward without defending every choice.

Not every decision needs an audience, an explanation, or approval. Some choices simply need to be yours.
