Some lessons in life don’t need to be complicated.
Life won’t always be fair. Confidence doesn’t replace accomplishment. Respect is earned through how you work and treat people. No honest work is beneath you. Mistakes are opportunities to learn, not excuses to blame. You won’t always get unlimited chances, so make the most of the ones you receive. Success takes patience, effort, and experience. The person you underestimate today may be the person you learn from tomorrow.
And perhaps the most important lesson:
Take responsibility for your life. Learn what you don’t know, appreciate the opportunities you’re given and keep moving forward.
Common sense may sound simple. Living by it takes discipline. Common sense won’t make life easier, but it can keep you from making life harder.
