Pay the Price

Anything worth building usually asks something from you before it gives something back.

We often focus on what we want, the opportunity, the growth, the freedom, the accomplishment, but spend less time thinking about what it will require from us.

Sometimes the price is getting started before you feel ready. Sometimes it’s giving up convenience, changing a habit, protecting your time, or doing work nobody notices.

And the price doesn’t always have to feel painful. It simply means accepting that something important will require something from you.

The question isn’t whether there will be a price.

It’s whether what you’re building is worth paying it.

Everything worth building will ask something from you. Make sure what you’re paying for is worth the price.
