Make Room for Something Better

Sometimes the reason we can’t welcome something new is because we’re still holding on to too much of the old.

Old commitments. Unnecessary responsibilities. Things we keep simply because they’ve always been there.

Not everything in your life needs to stay there forever.

Making room doesn’t mean what you’re leaving behind had no value. It simply means you’re recognizing that something else may deserve that space.

The Simplifier’s Take: You don’t have to fill every space. Sometimes the best thing you can do is make room.

You can’t make room for something better if you insist on keeping everything exactly where it is.
