Don’t Make Life Harder

We have a way of making things harder than they need to be.

We add more steps. More options. More expectations. More things to think about. Before long, something that started as a simple goal feels so complicated that we don’t know where to begin.

Sometimes the answer isn’t to work harder.

It’s to simplify.

Look at what you’re trying to accomplish and ask yourself: What really matters right now? What is the next thing I can actually do?

You don’t need to figure out every step before taking the first one. You don’t need the perfect plan, the perfect timing, or every possible answer.

Start with what you know. Do what you can. Then take the next step.

Simplicity doesn’t mean thinking small. It means removing enough of the unnecessary so you can focus on what matters.

Life will give us plenty of complications on its own.

We don’t need to keep adding more.

Life is complicated enough on its own. Don’t make it harder by adding things that were never necessary.
