Starve the Noise

There will always be something competing for your attention.

Another notification. Another opinion. Another argument. Another piece of information someone insists you need to know right now.

The problem isn’t that the world is noisy. The problem is that we can start treating every noise like it deserves our attention.

It doesn’t.

Not everything needs a response. Not every opinion deserves consideration. Not every conversation needs your participation. And not everything labeled urgent is actually important.

Sometimes clarity comes from deciding what you’re no longer going to feed with your time, energy, and attention.

Turn down what distracts you so you can hear what matters.

Noise survives on the attention you give it. Feed what matters and let everything else go hungry.
