Rooted, Not Stuck

Sometimes we become impatient when life doesn’t seem to be moving fast enough. We assume that if we aren’t advancing, changing, or accomplishing something visible, we must be stuck.

But being still and being stuck are not the same thing.

There are seasons when the most important work is happening beneath the surface. You’re strengthening your values. Deepening your faith. Reconsidering priorities. Learning. Healing. Preparing. Building the foundation for whatever comes next.

A tree doesn’t apologize for spending time growing roots. Those roots are what allow it to grow taller later.

Don’t measure every season by how far you’ve moved. Sometimes progress is found in how firmly you’ve learned to stand.

You’re not always stuck just because you’re standing still. Sometimes you’re growing roots strong enough to support where you’re going next.
