Everyone should strive daily to be successful, but remember that your success shouldn’t be at the expense of others. Henry Ford said it best, “If everyone is moving forward together, then success takes care of itself.” As you move forward striving to achieve any level of success make sure you include others who can share in that success with you! Always keeping in mind that not everyone wants to be part of the success you are moving towards!
Demonstrating exceptional persistence and perseverance can open doors to success; make sure you take an in-depth look inside yourself and what you’re made of!
If you have a positive attitude and a great sense of humor, you will be able to laugh at something or someone every day. It may be a joke someone shares. A simple e-mail or phone call. Maybe even talking to someone and reflecting on past experiences. Sometimes you just have to laugh at yourself or at others. If you pay close attention there will be something to laugh about. Make sure you take the time to laugh and laugh often. It’s great talking to family and friends, but realize if you complain too much, it gets old fast. Stop for a minute, look at yourself and laugh. Chances are there is someone laughing at you or with you this very moment. Find the fun in life and just enjoy it! Laugh and laugh often until it’s habit forming!
Sharing your talents will open doors of opportunity for yourself and those you come in contact with. People are willing to follow, but they follow people who lead with passion, honesty, commitment, love and compassion. Why be talented if you are going to keep that talent to yourself and not let others benefit from it? Make sure you focus on what you have to offer and give to those who may not realize they too can share their talents. It’s not the same to walk through a door of opportunity by yourself when others are willing to open the door for you and follow you through them.
Leadership is the capacity to rally around a group of people to encourage them to reach their personal or professional goals. The purpose of this blog is to make available fundamental opportunities to help you develop; improve or put into practice your own leadership skills. The intention is to provide a place to reflect on your own leadership performance and to share your concept of such. Hopefully in sharing our words, our resources and both background and experience in leadership; it will enable others to understand and embrace their own leadership skills! Make sure you share!
Everyone copes and deals with situations differently. Regardless of what we face, our overall reaction is what people will remember. Whether the outcome is positive or negative our actions and reactions speaks for themselves. The situation is never the problem, sometimes the problem is our attitude.
Having a positive attitude will enable you to see the brighter side of any situation and will provide you with a new level of hope and understanding. It can also produce a level of new found confidence allowing you to expect something bigger or better. The situation may even provide you with an opportunity to develop and strengthen your mindset or your outlook. If we maintain a level of focus and move forward with it, we gather a level of understanding, not only of the situation but of ourselves.
As you move forward in your daily life, make sure you share your gifts and talents. It’s not the same to have something to offer and then hoard it, thinking no one will benefit from it. Let people make that decision for themselves. Don’t make it for them. Just share and let the impact it has on others speak for itself!
When you give freely of what you know, what you’ve experienced and what you’ve been blessed with, you create a ripple effect that goes far beyond what you may ever see. Your talents could inspire someone to take the first step toward their own goals, your words could give hope in a difficult moment and your actions could spark the change that someone else has been waiting for.
The beauty of sharing is that it doesn’t diminish what you have, it multiplies it. The more you give, the more value your gifts hold, both for you and for those around you. So don’t hesitate, don’t hold back and don’t second guess the worth of what you bring to the table. Someone, somewhere, needs exactly what you have to offer today.
Life is full of setbacks, some major and some small, but when we’re faced with these setbacks our attitude and the choices we make are important. We can choose to feel discouraged or be grateful for the opportunity to learn from them. Regardless of your accomplishments, be proud of your efforts, take setbacks in stride and be grateful for the experience.
Henry Ford once said, “Life is a series of experiences, each of which makes us bigger, even though it is hard to realize this. For the world was built to develop character, and we must learn that the setbacks and griefs which we endure help us in our marching onward.”
Allowing your character to develop through setbacks will ensure your personal growth. Staying focused will enable you to move closer to achieving the success you are destined for.
The road to success is defined by your own stamina. How much you are willing to endure in order to achieve success says plenty about your character? How you choose to react when you face obstacles along the journey is your decision to make! Make sure your reaction doesn’t overshadow your success!
Understanding the value of keeping things in perspective may seem simple, yet many of us struggle with it daily. Perspective allows us to see what truly matters, but we often complicate this concept by holding on to things that no longer serve us such as old habits, limiting beliefs, toxic relationships, or unnecessary distractions.
When we give too much value to things that aren’t worth keeping, we weigh ourselves down and blur our vision of what lies ahead. Growth requires clarity, and clarity often comes through letting go. Sometimes the biggest breakthrough is not about what we add to our lives, but what we are willing to release.
If you want to move forward and achieve the accomplishments that await you, you must be willing to clear the clutter that blocks your path. Keeping perspective is not just about seeing things differently, it is about choosing what is worth holding onto and what is best left behind.
Keeping things in perspective is simple, but we complicate it by holding on to what no longer serves us. Progress comes when we release the weight and keep our vision clear. What are you willing to let go of to keep your perspective in view?
