Building Inner Resilience

Being strong doesn’t mean nothing affects you.

Some seasons will knock you off schedule. Plans will change. People will disappoint you. Something you counted on may disappear.

Resilience isn’t pretending those things don’t hurt.

It’s giving yourself enough room to absorb what happened without allowing it to decide what happens next.

You may need to slow down. You may need to change direction. You may even need some help.

Just don’t confuse adjusting with giving up.

Resilience isn’t proving that nothing can knock you down. It’s learning that being knocked down doesn’t get to decide where you stay.
