There are times when I’ve told people, “Silence is GOLDEN.” But let’s be honest, duct tape is SILVER. Sometimes you just need to hush up or carry a roll of duct tape and let it do the work. After all, not everyone wants to hear what you’ve got to say, and truth be told, you probably don’t want to hear what they’ve got to say either!
So grab your imaginary duct tape, apply as needed, and enjoy the sweet sound of silence. Shhhhhhhhhh!
Everyone wants to be successful, but no one is willing to sacrifice the things hindering them from achieving that success! Instead of seeking success, many think they are entitled to success! Entitlement is a word used by people who would rather take away someone else’s success instead of creating their own!
Life is full of many opportunities! You just have to be determined and continue to focus on achieving your success. In the end, what are you really entitled to? NOTHING!!!
I don’t believe in being mediocre. There are already far too many people committed to perfecting the art of playing small, settling for less and staying comfortable. Mediocrity may feel safe, but it keeps you from realizing the greatness you’re capable of.
I choose to strive for something better every single day. Why? Because I believe in my potential, and I refuse to let excuses, fear, or complacency keep me from what I know I can achieve. Excellence isn’t about being perfect, it’s about constantly raising the bar, challenging yourself and refusing to settle for average when you know you were created for more.
I remind myself daily that my worth is not tied to mediocrity. I am better, I can do better and I will continue to pursue better. Growth requires boldness, and excellence demands effort, but the rewards of becoming the best version of yourself are worth every step of the journey.
